NexGen Staples: "Golden Labelled Rice."

Our own "golden rice" initiatives which first appeared in 1987 have been brought to life finally by new CRISPR/Cas9 and new chloroplastid-based genetics to be earmarked for 2023 with markets to be based in Ankara, Turkey (Europe-C. Asia), Beijing, China (Far East), Regina SK Canada (North America) and Havana, Cuba (Latin and C. America).

To expand on the venture of "pasta for the people" enriched in VitA there are plans to produce semolina flour for semolina-based pasta of the "golden" variety. (Semolina is the Italian method of purifying and removing the coarse centres of the grain.) Whether it be from rice, corn or even rye grain is a v. interesting story to follow to end of the rainbow and its "pot of gold".
