In 2017 we reported to the UBC Land Food Systems (LFS) Faculty, Vancouver BC Canada our recent foray in the nutraceutical dietetic food product market started with a unique sourced oleo "l-fat," omega-3 fatty acid from either sources such as canola or fish oils for preparing meat products or dairy protecting and/or maintaining heart health. The oily product is projected to be jelled-like at room temperature or as refrigerated as with deli-meats or dairy creme products such as creme cheese spread (spun), oleo-margarine, sour creme- and even used in gravies using micro-fat technology using gel-like carriers such as agar-agar and pectin. Ice cream and yogurt for dessert is also coming up using pectin as a good choice. And here's heart-health food to add to all this.
